Four Brick Business Buildings

Photo circa 1895 or 1896. The three flat roofed buildings were razed August 16th, 1982. The Lions Club gazebo was erected in that area where these three buildings stood. Hoover Hall can be seen on the far right corner. At the time this photo was taken, Dallas Sisson and Perry Hodson operated a grocery in the east room, with John Ratliff and John S. Griffin selling groceries and hardware in the middle room. A clothing store occupied the downstairs of the Hoover Hall building.
