Enlarged view of photo showing the Beeson Covered Bridge under construction, comes from an old large format negative found in the Collection of M. L. Davies. Despite the age of this negative, it is actually a photograph of a photograph, which appears to be mounted to a board, the stains in the right corner of the photo carrying over to the mounting board; I'm guessing the gentleman with the suite and tie was actually a county commissioner or other local official ... click here for biography -- Special thanks to the family of Mr. Davies for providing an extensive collection for presentation on this site, which will, I'm sure, help perpetuate their father's passion for covered bridge preservation!
