The following is not a comprehensive list of all the information used for this site. It does, however, list the majority of the historical books collected that have been, or are being, posted on the site. Where applicable, you can click on the image to the left of the text and visit a working index for the information described.
This wonderful book, written in 1864, includes many tales of pioneer life from the viewpoint of women (especially in the first few chapters) and much more. It is the single most enjoyable reading experience I've encountered since starting this project. The entire text has been edited and posted online ... to read it visit the Jay County site.
