alvert C. Klinger, a newspaperman, was born in North Vernon, Indiana, on February 1, 1879 and graduated from North Vernon High School. He learned the printers trade and purchased the North Vernon Plain Dealer in 1905. Mr. Klinger purchased and consolidated the Republican with the Plain Dealer in March of 1913 and has also publishes the Dupont News since March of 1915. He is a member of the Republican State Editorial Association and a resident of North Vernon.
