 eorge W. Fullhart married Marth Van Arsdal in Huntington
County on October 27, 1866, according to marriage records I found on
Ancestry.com. George was born February 2, 1844 in Delaware County, the first-born
of 12 children born to John Fullhart (born 1818 in Ohio) and Charlotte Callison
(born January 28, 1826, Clark County, Ohio). George mustered into the 19th
regiment Indiana Infantry as a private. He died after 1870 and before 1880,
based on U.S. Census records. Martha made a widow's claim on his pension,
as did an Elmer Fullhart, a younger brother for whom George and Martha were
guardians. I lack information on Martha Vannosdol and her family.
