The Clinton Covered Bridge is no longer standing … it crossed the Wabash River in Section 14, Township 14 North, and Range 9 West, one side in Parke County and the other in Vermillion County. This 4-span structure was built in about 1857 and had 3 covered spans with one open for the drawbridge, the total length being 735 feet. Listed as #14-61-58 in the Parke County World Guide and #14-83-11 for Vermillion County (according to G. Gould's 1977 list) the Clinton Covered Bridge was lost in 1899.  Charles Dinsmore provided an old photograph image, which was most likely taken in the late 1800s, listing the following "Rates of Toll":
