FRENCH LICK RAILROAD COVERED BRIDGE

The French Lick Railroad Covered Bridge is no longer standing … it crossed French Lick Creek in Section 34, Township 2 North, Range 2 West, Orange County. This 125 foot long Howe Truss structure was built in 1894 by the L., N. A. & Chicago Railroad. The French Lick Railroad Covered Bridge was listed as #14-59-04 in the World Guide (according to G. Gould's 1977 list) and the date of its demise is unknown.
