The Speery Mill Covered Bridge is no longer standing … it crossed Sugar Creek in Section 31, Township 19 North, and Range 4 West, Montgomery County. Most likely a Burr Arch Truss structure 160 feet long, this covered bridge was built in 1840 by Chillion Johnson. The Sperry Mill Covered Bridge was listed as #14-54-07 in the World Guide (according to G. Gould's 1977 list) and lost in 1928.
