DOLAN COVERED BRIDGE

The Dolan Covered Bridge is no longer standing … it crossed Beanblossom Creek in Section 2, Township 9 North, and Range 1 West, Monroe County. This Howe Truss structure had a length of 100 feet and was built in 1878 by the Western Bridge Company. The Dolan Covered Bridge was listed as #14-53-10 in the World Guide (according to G. Gould's 1977 list) and lost in 1927.
