Info.

Neither of the two covered bridges, one over the North Fork and another over the South Fork of Muddy Creek, is now standing. Probably located in Section 11, Township 9 North, and Range 1 West, Monroe County, these structures were both 40 feet long and built by the Smith Bridge Company in about 1880. The North Fork Covered Bridge was listed as #14-53-12 in the World Guide (according to G. Gould's 1977 list) while the South Fork Covered Bridge was listed in this same source as #14-53-13. Both structures were lost in about 1990.
