The Richland Creek Covered Bridge, also known as the Plummer Creek Covered Bridge, crosses Plummer Creek in Section 35, Township 7 North, and Range 5 West, just south of Bloomfield on Seminary Road, Greene County. This single span Burr Arch Truss structure has a length of 100 feet, or 120 feet including the 10-foot overhang at each end, with a portal clearance 14 feet wide by 13 feet high. Built in 1883 by Archibald M. Kennedy & Sons, the bridge was closed in 1957 and reopened in 1967 after the foundation and roof were rehabilitated; closed again in 1990, it was opened once more in 1998 after extensive structural renovation that including replacement of timbers. The Richland Creek Covered Bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993 and listed as #14-28-01 in the 1989 World Guide.
