ROB ROY COVERED BRIDGE

The Rob Roy Covered Bridge crosses Big Shawnee Creek in, in Section 30, Township 21 North, and Range 7 West, off of US 41 just north of Rob Roy where County Road 800 becomes Shawnee Lane, Fountain County. This single span Howe Truss structure has a length of 120 feet with portal clearance15 feet 6 inches wide by 13 feet high. Built in 1860, the Rob Roy Covered Bridge was listed as #14-23-03 in the 1972 World Guide).
