BENTON ROMANTIC SHELTER

The Benton Romantic Shelter is a modern covered bridge that crosses the Benton Spillway on County Road 31, 1 mile south of US 33 just north of Benton, Elkhart County. This single span structure was built in 1977 utilizing a Stringer Truss, is 50 feet long, and identified as #14-20-B in the 1989 Romantic Shelters supplement to the World Guide.
