HOLLANS ROMANTIC SHELTER

The Hollans Romantic Shelter is a modern Covered Bridge located in or near Section 9, Township 19 North, and Range 11 East, Delaware County. Built in 1976, the Hollans Covered Bridge has a length of 60 feet and is located east of Prairie Creek Reservoir just off of County Road 600 South, apparently crossing a ditch or creek onto private property. Though not listed in the World Guide, I have utilized the common format and believe this should be identified as #14-18-B in the Romantic Shelters Supplement to the World Guide. I have made a trip to try and locate this structure, however, was unable to find it and cannot confirm it is still standing in 2003.
