The Gardens of Memory Romantic Shelter is a modern Covered Bridge located in Section 10, Township 21 North, and Range 10 East, Delaware County, where it connects the Garden View Funeral Home with the Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Built in 1988 utilizing what appears to be a Modified King Post Truss, the covered portion is actually centered on the bridge leaving a 13-foot 2-inch "under hang" at each end. The bridge is 87 feet long, while the covered structure is 60 feet 8 inches in length with a portal opening of 10 feet 2 inches wide and 13 feet 2 inches high. Though too new to be listed in the World Guide, I have utilized the common format and believe this will be identified as #14-18-B in the Romantic Shelters Supplement to the World Guide.
