The Angel Hill Romantic Shelter, originally known as the
Centennial Covered Bridge, is a modern covered footbridge that crosses a
stream in the Angel Hill Golf Course at Rossville, Clinton County. Before
the new classification of Romantic Shelter was defined, this structure was
listed in the World Guide as #14-12-01, however, it is currently listed as
#14-12-a in the Romantic Shelters supplement to the World Guide. The
1972 World Guide also listed this as having a King Post Truss while the 1989
Romantic Shelters supplement listed it as having a Stringer Truss design.
The Angle Hill Romantic Shelter is a single span structure 22 feet in length
that was built in 1970.
