The Roberts Romantic Shelter is a modern covered bridge that crosses Dead Fall Branch 1 mile south of State Road 46 on the east side of State Road 135 in Washington Township, Brown County. This double span structure was built in 1962 utilizing a Stringer Truss, is 40 feet long, and identified as #14-07-A in the 1989 Romantic Shelters supplement to the World Guide; before this new classification was defined the Roberts "Covered Bridge" was identified in the 1972 World Guide as #14-07-03 though it was removed from this listing in the 1989 publication.
