PRICE COVERED BRIDGE

The Price Covered Bridge is no longer standing … it crossed the Wabash River and was most likely located in Congressional Township 25 North, Range 14 East, Section 17 one and one half miles north of Geneva in Adams County on road South 150 West between the West 850 South split . The structure was lost in 1900 when a crossing of a steam threshing machine ignited a fire. The date the Price Covered Bridge was constructed is unknown and the common numerical identifier for the structure is 14-01-09.
