Wabash & Erie Canal Park

Located 11 blocks north of the Courthouse in Delphi, the Wabash & Erie Canal Park is the only remaining public accessible watered section of the historic Wabash & Erie Canal in Indiana. The Carroll County Wabash & Erie Canal Association operates two parks, seven miles of stone trails and has a new Canal Interpretive Center that features the Wabash & Erie Canal from its beginnings in Fort Wayne (in 1832) down along the Wabash until it reached to Delphi (in 1840) and finally to Evansville (in 1853).
